Hollywood is known across the world for its glamour and luxury as well as the world Mecca of filmmaking. We have seen the mansions, the supercars and the private jets of the Hollywood stars; let’s take a look at their yachts.
The Vajoliroja, named for the first letters of the names of Depp’s family-former girlfriend Vanessa, Johnny, daughter Lily, Rose and son Jack. Completed in 2001 by Proteksan Turquoise Yachts, this vessel possesses the elegance that is rarely found in the yachts of today. With its overhanging frontal stern, the two masts, the chimney and the square wooden cabin on the upper deck, the design of the Vajoliroja was modeled after the vintage looks of a 1930s tycoon’s steam yacht.
After Depp acquired the vessel in 2007, it was completely re-fitted. Working with designer L.M. Pagano, the Vajoliroja received a Parisian bordello-esque velvet interior, while being outfitted with the latest technologies.
One of the peculiarities of this Depp’s yacht is that it is available for private charter when Johnny is not using it. Vajoliroja accommodates up to ten guests and a crew of eight. The yacht includes a formal dining room, a library, outdoor lounges and sunbathing areas, a master suite, and four cabins for the lucky guests. There are no helicopter pads nor swimming pools, this yacht however is the epitome of the vintage classic style.
