The coast of Alicante is one of the most popular mediterranean charter destinations in Spain because of its amazing beaches, coves and cuisine. The weather is good almost all year with 300 days of sun and annual average temperatures between13ºC-22ºC. If you choose boat rental in Denia you will also get the chance to sail to the Balearic Islands and spend a few days in Ibiza too. The city of Denia is also perfectly located as you can get there from the airport of Valencia, Alicante, by train from Valencia, by bus or simply by car.

Denia is a popular travel destination, because of the wide variety of activities that are possible in this beautiful place. Sailing is a very widespread activity, and it is done in a variety of ways: with a Kayak, a canoe, a boat or sport fishing. In addition, it is possible to enjoy the wonderful beaches in the region, such as Les Marines, for example. It is possible to enjoy nature as well: we can give a walk in places such as the Camino de la Colónia in the Ladera del Montgó and arrive to the Cova de L´Aigua, from where it is possible to observe a fantastic landscape. Denia´s cuisine is famous because of plates such as the “a banda” rice, which is possible to try in every restaurant in the city. It is also possible to enjoy the sea from land: the seafront of Les Rotes is a source of relax for multiple bikers and walkers. The old town is another place worth-visiting: getting lost in the tiny streets full of balconies is another wonderful experience. Patron Saint Festivities are also present in this city: the popular “Bous a la Mar” that have been declared a Festival of National Interest, and there are many other attractions such as museums (The Archaeological Museum), castles (The castle of Denia) and flea markets (in the Explanada Cervantes) that make impossible to get bored in Denia.

The port

The port of Denia contains piers and offers different docks, commercial areas with sailing facilities and a yacht Club. The marina is called “El Portet de Dénia” and is located inside on the north side of the main port. It offers 360 berths for boats with a maximum depth of 3 m and a length of up to 20m. It has multiple services such as water refill, electricity, 24h security, weather station and restaurants nearby. It is a very quiet area but only 300m away from the promenade. The port of Denia is one of the best on the Costa Blanca.

Beaches

Denia is divided in two different zones where you will be able to find white sandy beaches and stone coves. These beaches are perfect for swimming, sunbathing and for  trying out water sports, volleyball, football and more. The Mediterranean landscape is popular for its pines, orange trees and charming fields that can be enjoyed while lying on the beach. The first area is called the Marina and offers white sand beaches with a length from 500-2900 metres. Look out for the following seven beaches: Punta del Raset, the area of Albaranes, Les Marines, Les Bovetes, Els Molins, L’Almadrava and Les Deveses.

If you feel up to visit and swim in coves, we recommend these amazing areas with several coves with a length of 150-1400 metres: La Marineta Cassiana and Les Rotes. You can relax and try out snorkelling specially in the coves of Les Rotes: El Trampolí, La Punta Negra, Arenetes and “La Cala”.
